North Metropolitan Health Services (NMHS) awarded ME Services the contract to undertake the generator room’s fire suppression system, structural support and associated mechanical upgrade.
Scope of Works:
Supply, Installation, and commissioning of Fire System – Supply and installation of Victaulic Vortex 1500 Nitrogen Cylinders.
– Supply and Installation of Victaulic Vortex 1500 Water Cylinder.
– Mounting Victaulic Vortex 1500 Combination Panel
– Supply and installation of Water tank fill line <10m complete with filter
– Supply and installation of Pipework to Emitters – Conduct a pneumatic pressure test
– Installation of Emitters – Supply and installation of an AMPAC FIP.
– Supply and Installation of Spectrex Flame Detectors.
– Wiring of Combination panel to FIP.
– Supply and installation of illuminated signage.
– Interface with the MSSB/ service inside the generator room.
– Commissioning and DFES paperwork.
Supply, Installation, and commissioning of Mechanical System
– Dilapidation report – Mechanical Services shop drawings for review and approval
– Supply and installation of 3 off Motorised dampers
– Supply and installation of colourbond panel plenum to suit the new dampers
– Supply and installation of new weatherproof louvres
– Modification of existing compressed air pipework including double acting electric solenoid valve
– Supply and installation of new BMS control panel
– All electrical and control describe in specification and drawings
– Testing and commissioning
